Vecima finalizes major OEM agreement

VICTORIA – Vecima Networks has signed an original equipment manufacturer (OEM) agreement for a new network platform with an unnamed digital video access equipment vendor that it says will build upon its established cable headend technology. Under the agreement, Vecima will design, manufacture and supply network equipment platforms that interface to the already deployed network devices which are used to provide digital video services.
