TORONTO – Toronto-based film and television lawyer Doug Murray is joining Taylor Klein Oballa LLP starting Monday.
The entertainment and media law firm specializes in working with production companies, producers, and in the music and media sectors, representing recording artists such as Drake and Nelly Furtado, and media personalities George Stromboulopoulos and Jian Ghomeshi.
Murray has been practicing entertainment law exclusively since 2002. As a sole practitioner prior to joining the firm, he has worked on numerous productions including TV series Rich Bride, Poor Bride; Rescue Mediums and Keys to the VIP, plus feature films like Coopers Camera, Servitude and Cat Ladies.
“We have been expanding our film/TV and our new media practice areas for the past several years and the addition of Doug will bolster our capacity in the film/TV department immediately”, said partner Chris Taylor, in the announcement. “We are very excited to have him on board.”
