SCTE Canadian Summit 2012: Blonder Tongue buys Drake, signs distribution deal with Incospec


TORONTO – Blonder Tongue has acquired electronic communication equipment maker R.L. Drake, including its Canadian sales and service centre Drake Canada. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

New Jersey-based Blonder Tongue Laboratories designs, manufactures, sells and supports an equipment portfolio of standard and high definition digital video solutions, as well as core analog video and high speed data solutions for distribution over coaxial cable, fibre and IP networks.

In related company news, Incospec Communications has finalized a distribution agreement with Blonder Tongue  to offer its line of equipment in Canada.
