BANFF – The co-creator and writer of Glee, Ian Brennan, will share the story of his success at this year’s Banff World Television Festival.
Glee, the award-winning musical comedy-drama about a high school glee club, marks Brennan’s first foray into television writing. He was inspired by his high-school show choir experience.
“Glee has become a television phenomenon, and we’re so excited that Ian will be joining us to discuss this show that has taken television audiences by storm,” said Peter Vamos, executive director of the Festival, in the announcement.
Brennan is scheduled to speak on June 16 from 3 – 4 pm. The Banff World Television Festival will take place June 13 – 16, 2010 at the Fairmont Banff Springs Hotel, in Banff, AB.
