Mobilicity adds chief customer officer

TORONTO – Mobilicity has named Anthony Booth to its executive management team as chief customer officer.

As CCO, Booth will oversee Mobilicity’s sales and marketing operations. His focus will include brand development, as well as expanding the company’s national distribution network of retail stores and dealer partners.

Prior to joining the wireless carrier, Booth spent almost 11 years at Mars Canada, most recently as general manager of its food division, including overall P/L and all demand and supply functions. He also served as VP of marketing of the company’s food portfolio, VP of Pan American trade strategy, and director of sales-grocery channel. Earlier in his career, Booth worked at Procter & Gamble in Canada and the U.S. for almost a decade.

"Anthony brings significant leadership and strategic insight to Mobilicity with an impressive 20-year career helping develop some of the world’s foremost brands," said president and CEO Dave Dobbin, in Tuesday’s announcement. "As wireless telecommunications continues to evolve and change, Anthony will play a key role in unleashing and maximizing the power of the Mobilicity brand."
