MARKHAM – Duff Roman and Jim Waters are the 2010 Lifetime Achievement Award recipients as selected by the Ontario Association of Broadcasters (OAB).
The award honours an individual, (or two, as is the case this year), who has brought distinction to, or has made major contributions to the broadcasting industry. This prestigious award pays tribute to the person who demonstrates vision, leadership and exemplifies an outstanding commitment to the industry.
Roman and Waters will accept their awards at the OAB’s annual general meeting scheduled for October 21st at On the Park Events and Conference Centre in Toronto. The single day conference, dubbed ‘OAB Connection 2010’ will include speakers and panels for everyone who makes their living in broadcasting.
