TORONTO – Asian Television Network (ATN) earned a profit before tax of over $900,000 for its second quarter of 2010.
"This resulted in net earnings and comprehensive income of over $600,000 in the second quarter on revenues of $5.2 million”, said CFO Byrne Fulton, in a statement announcing the company’s operating results. “Revenues for the six months total over $9.9 million dollars. A major accomplishment for the company."
President and CEO Shan Chandrasekar said that the results “reflects the substantial growth of our core revenues and continues setting a trend for the future."
As Canada’s largest South Asian Broadcaster, ATN operates 27 television channels plus the ATN Asian Radio on XM 159, the only satellite radio channel serving North America’s South Asian Diaspora.
