OTTAWA - Satellite service operator Telesat launched its Telstar 11N satellite from the Baikobur space centre in the Republic of Kazakhstan early on Friday. The satellite will be located at 37.5 degrees west, and use 39 high powered Ku-band transponders to support video and data applications in North America, Europe, Africa and across the Atlantic Ocean.
