OTTAWA – Add Friends of Canadian Broadcasting to the list of organizations hoping to save Saskatchewan’s educational broadcaster SCN.
The independent broadcasting watchdog has launched a campaign encouraging supporters to write to provincial Premier Brad Wall urging him to reconsider his decision to shutter the nearly 20 year-old broadcaster.
SCN is scheduled to go off the air on April 30 after the provincial government cut its funding in a decision last month.
