WINNIPEG – Craig Wireless has named Rod Vandenbos as its Chief Strategist, effective immediately.
Vandenbos has been involved with the company for the last five years, first as a consultant to its subsidiary Craig Wireless Palm Springs Inc., and most recently as president of Craig Wireless since June, 2009.
"With this new title, Rod will be given the ability and flexibility to devote his time and attention to both short and long term opportunities – both domestically and globally – and will allow him to focus on the areas where he can best serve the Company", said co-CEO Boyd Craig, in the announcement. "The title more closely aligns with Mr. Vandenbos’ role and responsibilities to date, and also aligns more closely with the role and titles of his contemporaries in the telecom industry. He will continue to work directly with Drew Craig, co-CEO, and myself to create, communicate, execute and sustain the Company’s strategic initiatives."
Boyd Craig and Drew Craig will continue in their roles as co-chief executive officers of the company, the announcement continued.
