TORONTO – Corus Radio is offering direct iTunes accessibility on 11 of its radio station websites, the first Canadian broadcaster to do so.
The integration of the iTunes Store will reflect the programming of each radio station, letting listeners shop from playlists featured on the stations as well as top picks from on-air talent and celebrity guests, the press release detailed.
"Although many websites are currently linked to iTunes, our partnership uniquely enables us to integrate the entire iTunes catalogue into our sites for the convenience of our listeners," said David Huszar, vice president and GM of Corus Radio’s interactive division, in the release.
The radio stations and websites are:
– Vancouver: 99.3 The FOX (cfox.com) and Classic Rock 101 (rock101.com)
– Calgary: Country 105 (country105.com) and Q107 (q107fm.ca)
– Edmonton: 92.5 JOE FM (joefm.ca) and CISN COUNTRY 103.9 (cisnfm.com)
