Corus signs on as French radio partner for 2010 Olympics


TORONTO – Corus Québec has joined the Olympic broadcast media consortium as its French-language radio partner for the 2010 Olympic Winter Games.

Corus will deliver exclusive French radio coverage of the Games on 10 French-language stations across Québec, including pre-Olympic programming, live events, on-site reports and news updates from the Games.  It will also be able to simulcast all Games-related content from French television broadcasters TQS, RDS and RIS Info Sports.

Coverage will be led by its flagship all-sports station CKAC Sports in Montreal, while other stations providing coverage will include Montreal’s 96.9 CKOI, 98.5 FM and Info690, Quebec’s 102.9 FM, Lévis’s 102.1 FM, Outaouais’s 104.7 FM, Saguenay’s 98.3 FM, Sherbrooke’s 102.1 CKOY, and Trois-Rivières’s 106.9 FM.
