TORONTO – The online news service for Toronto’s Citytv, Citynews.ca, and The Mark, have inked a content partnership that will provide citynews.ca users with a new stream of local features and opinion pieces.
The agreement will include a weekly editorial opinion series from a number of The Mark contributors on topics impacting Torontonians, such as poverty, the TTC, changing neighbourhoods, HST, and the mayoral race.
"Citynews.ca is pleased to be able to offer our users more in-depth, hyper-local and opinion based news features from a long list of notable Torontonians," said Claude Galipeau, SVP and GM digital, Rogers Media, in a statement. "Our relationship with The Mark will serve to complement our current daily news, sports, traffic and weather coverage.”
A Toronto-based publication, The Mark is an on-line magazine for commentary and debate with a community of more than 600 Canadian experts on politics, business, science, technology, and the arts.
