TORONTO – The French language version of Teletoon Retro has launched on Bell TV, at no additional cost for subscribers in Quebec, and for subscribers with the ‘French Networks’ package throughout the rest of Canada.
Since its launch last September, the network has aired timeless animated classics such as Bugs Bunny et Tweety (The Bugs Bunny and Tweety Show), Inspecteur Gadget (Inspector Gadget) and Tom et Jerry (The Tom & Jerry Show).
The Bell TV launch is accompanied by a Montreal street stunt which will see props from recognizable and beloved cartoons transplanted to the real world. An ACME-branded anvil along with Bugs Bunny carrots and lawn signs informing passersby that it is “Wabbit Season” will appear in Montreal as part of an awareness campaign that has already launched in Toronto and Vancouver. The street props promote specially created microsites where visitors can learn more about the network and its programming.
