MONTREAL – Not to be outdone, Bell will debut a new turbo stick and MiFi intelligent mobile hotspot when its new HSPA network launches in November.
The Novatel turbo stick is a ‘plug and play’ device compatible with both Windows and Mac operating systems. Weighing just 36 grams, the compact U998 will double as a memory stick with expandable memory of up to 32 gigabytes.
Canada’s first HSPA Intelligent Mobile Hotspot, the portable Novatel Wireless MiFi 2372, offers simultaneous Wi-Fi connectivity for up to five devices or users. It is compatible with Windows and Mac operating systems and includes a microSD slot for expandable memory of up to 16 gigabytes.
"These two new leading edge mobile Internet products from Novatel Wireless will take full advantage of Bell Mobility’s new HSPA network, which will be the fastest and largest wireless network in Canada when it launches next month," said Adel Bazerghi, SVP of products at Bell Mobility, in the announcement. "When paired with a portable computer, the HSPA+ Turbo Stick and MiFi 2372 Intelligent Mobile Hotspot will both deliver fast, easy and reliable mobile access to the Internet across Canada or around the world."
