REGINA – SaskTel predicts that its customers will make approximately 750,000 long distance calls on Christmas Day, making it one of the busiest calling days of the year.
About 42% of those calls are expected to be made to locations in Saskatchewan, while about 53% of the calls will be to Canadian destinations outside of the province. About 4% will go to the United States and overseas, the company said in a press release.
The number includes both wireline and wireless long distance calling.
