Rush HD to shoot life in the fast lane

TORONTO – Extreme sports channel Rush HD is sponsoring a car in this weekend’s AUTOPRO 100 race, and will shoot a documentary about the driver’s experience from the race preparations, to the time trials, to the checkered flag.

The documentary, called The Ringer, will follow Canadian driver Malcolm Strachan as he pilots the Rush HD Dodge Avenger on the Circuit Gilles Villeneuve in Montreal on August 30, one of the races in the NASCAR Canadian Tire Series.

“Sponsorship of Malcolm’s car is a perfect fit for Rush HD” says Rush HD CEO John Panikkar, in the press release. “This is a rare opportunity to show our viewers what it is like behind the scenes, preparing a car for a major race, then being along for the ride at this pivotal point in Malcolm’s career. What young person hasn’t wanted to be a race car driver – well here’s a chance to see what it’s like from the inside.”
