Treehouse aims to keep brand clean

TORONTO – Corus Entertainment has come up with an interesting new way to keep its Treehouse brand top of mind with parents and their preschoolers.

Within the next few months, popular Treehouse characters such as The Backyardigans, Max & Ruby and Franklin the Turtle will appear on a line of children’s natural bath time products produced by Nature Clean.

“Nature Clean and Treehouse is a natural partnership in so many ways" said Doug Murphy, GM of Corus Kids and president of Nelvana. "It was important for us to ensure that parents understand and appreciate the sensibilities of the Treehouse brand and the outstanding products developed by Nature Clean. This is Treehouse’s first foray into children’s personal care products and with an environmentally friendly line and an emphasis on natural ingredients, we are pleased to work with Nature Clean to bring quality products to market that will have a strong appeal to both parents and kids alike.”

The products will be available at major retailers in Canada over the coming months. The initial launch will include bubble bath, 2-in-1 shampoo, body wash, body lotion, leave-in hair detangler and foaming hand soap, scented with natural flavourings in combinations such as ‘Wacky Melon’ and ‘Berry Blast’.

Nature Clean is a Canadian owned and operated company that has been offering consumers natural, non-toxic and biodegradable household cleaning, laundry, dish and personal care products since 1963.
