OAKVILLE, ON – Corus Entertainment will receive the Big Picture Gala Honouree Award presented by the Sheridan Institute of Technology and Advanced Learning later this month.
The Big Picture Awards, now in its third year, allows Sheridan to acknowledge select corporations and organizations for their outstanding leadership, their willingness to innovate, and their commitment to excellence.
“Talented artists with a commitment to excellence drive the creation of great brands and great content,” said Corus president and CEO John Cassaday, in the announcement. “We commend Sheridan for building an inspiring and innovative educational environment that has trained and developed many of the bright lights in our industry and at Corus Entertainment. We are proud of our partnership with Sheridan and are honoured to accept their 2009 Gala Honouree Award.”
Cassaday will accept the award in person at a presentation held October 22 at the Pearson Convention Centre in Brampton, ON.
