Westman to offer home phone

BRANDON, Man. – Westman Communications will add home phone service to its lineup starting next month.

Available to its Brandon-based customers only, Westman will roll out various plans and offers bundled with their television and Internet service. The telephone service will be carried over the company’s private fibre optic-coax network, ensuring “consistent, reliable, clear calling."

“Westman Home Phone pairs perfectly with our TV or high speed Internet to provide a dependable, high quality, local alternative for all of our customers’ needs,” said David Baxter, president and CEO of the 27,000-customer cable co-op, in a press release. “Our phone service will have no access fees and there are no additional hidden fees. We think our customers will be happy with the pricing, features and the great customer service Westman provides.”
