Tru2way will headline Cable Show in Big Easy

BOULDER, Colo. – Tru2way technology will be the main focus of this year’s CableNET technology showcase at The Cable Show ’08 to be held next month in New Orleans.

Tru2way technology is the retail brand for the OpenCable (hardware) and OCAP (software) technical initiatives. Within CableNET, companies with tru2way technology demonstrations will include Samsung, Sigma Designs and Zodiac Interactive.

In addition to forming a major presence at the CableNET pavilion, tru2way technology will be the subject of a two-day pre-convention conference for OCAP developers.

The CableNET technology showcase is co-sponsored by Cable Television Laboratories (CableLabs) and the National Cable & Telecommunications Association (NCTA), and offers hands-on experience with many new services, applications and content. CableNET ’08 will also feature the following technology demonstrations: advanced video, home security, 145Mbps download speeds, broadband wireless, interactive advertising, Internet-focused applications and services, and advanced PacketCable 2.0-based technologies.

The Cable Show ’08, NCTA’s 57th Annual Convention and International Exposition, will be held May 18-20 at the Ernest Morial Convention Center in New Orleans. For more information, visit http://2008.thecableshow.com.
