TELUS and the Toronto Board of Trade launch new business centre


TORONTO – TELUS on Thursday launching a business centre offering communications solutions to local firms at the Toronto Board of Trade.

Called the TELUS Business Centre, the facility includes work stations, thin-client computers, printing facilities, private meeting spaces, access to video and audio conferencing, GPS and visual voice mail.

Businesses can use the centre to extend partnerships, connect with colleagues in different cities and meet new clients.

“TELUS’ partnership with the Toronto Board of Trade was a natural fit as we both share the same goal – to help promote small business growth in Canada,” said Dan Golberg, vice-president, TELUS Small Business.

TELUS and the Toronto Board of Trade unveiled the business centre on Thursday in advance of Small Business Week, running October 19-25.

“We were pleased to work with TELUS, a principal sponsor of the Board of Trade, to launch this innovative Business Centre,” said Carol Wilding, president and CEO of the Toronto Board of Trade.
