CCSA, CTV, sign on dotted line


QUISPAMSIS – The Canadian Cable Systems Alliance has a new Master Affiliate Agreement for the distribution of 13 CTV Specialty channels.

They are: TSN, The Comedy Network, CTVNewsnet, Discovery Channel, BNN – Business News Network, OLN, RDS, RIS (Le Réseau Info Sports), Animal Planet, Travel + Escape, Discovery Civilization, ESPN Classic and NHL Network.

With a subscriber base of approximately one million, the CCSA represents the commercial interests of 88 independent member companies for group purchases of programming, equipment and services.

“We sincerely thank CTV for patiently working with CCSA to conclude this very significant Master Agreement dealing with so many of the premiere Canadian specialty services," said CCSA president and CEO Alyson Townsend in a press release.
