TORONTO – Score Media’s Patrick Michaud, executive vice-president and chief financial officer, is leaving the company to establish a financial consulting practice, the company announced today.
"I would like to personally thank Patrick for his contribution to Score Media over the past five years," said John Levy, chairman and CEO, in a release. "During his tenure, Patrick was instrumental in the execution of several key capital markets transactions which have strengthened our balance sheet and positioned us for growth."
Until a successor is named, Michaud’s current responsibilities will be handled by Brian Merker, Score Media’s vice-president, finance.
"We have commenced a search process to find a chief financial officer who will be able to assist us in the execution of our growth plans," added Levy. "In the meantime, we are extremely fortunate to have a talented individual like Brian in place to lead our finance team and ensure a successful transition."
