MISSISSAUGA – Pyman Video Productions is rebranding as Pyman Media Group (PMG) as it re-positions itself for growth in new media and interactive broadcast technologies.
Pyman CEO Andrea Pyman announced Tuesday that PMG has partnered with accomplished musician and composer Stuart Zaltz to launch Pyman-Zaltz Music to offer original and stock music for broadcast, film and commercial productions.
As well, broadcast veteran Michael A. Charbon is joining the company as executive producer and director.
Other new developments include the expansion of the mobile production fleet at PMG’s broadcast facilities company Tri-Lite TV. Tri-Lite has also expanded its rental equipment offering and production team to meet the growing demand for its HD and SD mobile services, Pyman said in a media release.
The PMG facilities also house GlassBOX Television, home of BiteTV, which recently announced $5 million in additional investment. Pyman is one of the investors in GlassBOX.
In Canada, PMG also works with LiveHive Systems, developers of NanoGaming, which provides interactive entertainment solutions to enhance TV broadcasts.
