TORONTO - HBO Canada officially launched across the country today. As previously reported by Cartt.ca, subscribers of Astral Media’s The Movie Network (Eastern Canada) or Corus Entertainment’s Movie Central (Western Canada) will now have automatic access to the channel, while new subscribers will have to purchase The Movie Network or Movie Central to receive it. HBO Canada includes a standard definition and high definition offering, plus on demand programming through The Movie Network On Demand and Movie Central On Demand where available by service provider and will show HBO hits on the same day and time as they are available Stateside....
