Telus Quebec workers accept new contract offer

RIMOUSKI – A strong majority of the members of the Syndicat des agents de maîtrise de Telus (SAMT) have voted to accept the Memorandum of Agreement reached with Telus management on July 4, 2008, as recommended by the negotiating committee. The SAMT covers more than 500 people employed in professional and supervisory positions working in the Lower Saint Lawrence, the Gaspé, Montreal, Quebec, Sainte-Marie, Saint-Georges, Baie-Comeau and Sept-Iles regions.
