TORONTO – Aimed at the small business sector in the Greater Toronto Area, MTS Allstream has launched a hosted phone system that will help SMBs "keep down costs and boost efficiency."
"The Hosted Phone System offers an abundance of features and functionality without requiring a large capital investment by a business," said Russ Friesen, vice-president, national small business markets, consumer markets division. "We can provide our customers a seamless transition to this new service, which we’re excited to offer to small business customers in the GTA, and we look forward to rolling the service out to other major markets in 2009."
With the HPS, small businesses owners select the number of phones they need and select the right package of features for each user. Web-based tools allow customers to improve their efficiency by managing their phone system and the features they want to have on their employee’s phones.
"On-site PBX systems, expensive service calls, and costly upgrades to obsolete technology are gone," says the press release.
