Cogeco announces a number of promotions


MONTREAL – Cogeco Cable promoted 10 people internally during the months of May and June 2008.

They are as follows:

Ron Perrotta, who has been Vice President, Marketing of Cogeco Cable since 2002, is appointed Vice President, Marketing and Strategic Planning. In this expanded role, he will also be responsible for Cogeco Cable’s strategic planning.

Gary Pelletier is appointed Director, International Markets. In this role, he will be Cogeco Cable’s prime liaison with its current and potential assets abroad. Pelletier joined Cogeco Cable in 2003 and was previously Director, Product Marketing – Cable Television and High Speed Internet.

Louise Desilets is appointed Director, Strategic Planning. In this new expanded role, she will contribute to the development and progress tracking of the corporate strategic plan in addition to her responsibilities of research and planning. Desilets joined Cogeco Cable in 2002 and was previously Director, Research and Planning.

Rachel Blain is appointed Director, Product Marketing – Cable Television / Cogeco Complete Connection. She was previously Director, Product Development and Project Planning. Rachel joined Cogeco Cable in 2003.

Dominique Fortin is appointed Director, Product Marketing – High Speed Internet and Digital Telephony. Dominique has been with Cogeco since 2004 and adds responsibility for High Speed Internet to her previous role of Director, Product Marketing – Digital Telephony.

Tom McCutcheon is appointed Vice President, Product Development and Project Planning. He has had different roles since he joined Cogeco Cable in 1988, including Vice President, Product Development.

Mathieu Primeau is promoted to Director, Product Development and Project Planning. Primeau joined Cogeco in 2007 as Senior Manager, Product Development.

Dimitri Stathis is now Senior Director, Commercial Sales and Marketing and will now assume responsibility for Product Marketing activity for Cogeco Business Solutions. He joined Cogeco Cable in 2005.

Anne Isabelle Roussy joins Cogeco Cable as Director, Web and Interactive Applications. Previously she held various positions in web applications and e-commerce, including at Microcell (Fido).

Marie-Claude Caron, who joined Cogeco Cable in 2002, is Director, Marketing Communications and is responsible for all marketing communications initiatives for Cogeco Cable’s residential and business clientele.
