The Movie Network rolls out next phase of its “Always Riveting” rebranding

TORONTO – Astral Media’s The Movie Network has unveiled a new on-air, off-air and online look to support its rebranding campaign under the “Always Riveting” tagline. The new look makes up the second component of a three-phase rebranding initiative that was launched in April 2007.

The tag line communicates “the compelling and engaging premium experience” the channel offers through its commercial-free, high-quality programming, Astral said in a media release on Monday.

“[Always Riveting] also lives up to The Movie Network’s commitment to providing unparalleled programming and an entertainment experience that immerses and captivates the viewer,” said Domenic Vivolo, senior VP of sales and marketing at Astral Television Networks. “We’re very excited to unveil what has been an extremely well-executed branding process lead by our award-winning creative services and marketing departments that hits the mark on every level.”

The third and final element to round out the rebrand includes a new voice that will help viewers find engaging programming. CFRB radio show host John Moore will do the voicing.

The rebrand initiative was spearhead and directed by The Movie Network’s in-house Strategic Design team and Marketing team lead by Heather Senst, executive creative director of Astral Television Networks, and Russell Ward, director of consumer marketing at Astral Television Networks.
