TORONTO – Wanda Bradley, manager of sales operation at NBC/Universal, and Michelle Marion, director of Canadian independent production at Astral Television Networks have been elected to the 2007 board of directors of Women in Film and Television – Toronto (WIFT-T).
Board members continuing for the 2007 term are Karen King, production executive of original programming, drama at CanWest MediaWorks; Kirstine Layfield, executive director of network programming at CBC Television; Leesa Levinson, actress and disabilities advocate; Wendy MacKeigan, executive producer of SK Films Inc.; Marcia Martin, vice-president of production at CHUM Television; Gabriella Martinelli, president and CEO of Capri Films; Sara Moore, senior vice-president of marketing and publicity at Alliance Atlantis Broadcasting; Margaret O’Brien, CFO and COO at Barna-Alper Productions Inc.; Cynthia Reyes, managing partner at DiversiPro Inc.; Susan Ross, executive vice-president and general manager of specialty TV at Corus Entertainment; Dianne Schwalm, senior vice-president of theatrical advertising and publicity at Warner Bros. Canada Inc.; Jane Tattersall, president at Tattersall Sound and Picture; and Sadia Zaman, director of in-house production at VisionTV.
Stepping down are Laura Milliken, president of Big Soul Productions, who served on the board for two years and was on the diversity committee; and Anne Schneerer, account manager of the TV and motion picture group at National Bank, who served for four years and was on the executive and finance committees.
