AYLMER - Amtelecom said Wednesday that it will purchase Gore Bay Cable TV on Manitoulin Island. Gore Bay Cable TV serves approximately 250 cable television customers in the Town of Gore. It also provides a high speed Internet service over its cable television network. The transaction will close January 1, 2007. Terms were not disclosed. Amtelecom is already the ILEC on the island.
