Her responsibilities include overseeing the marketing strategies for the Kids portfolio and managing multi-platform launches, as well as marketing’s involvement in research initiatives such as SWAT and the YTV Tween Report.

During her time with YTV, Baehr played a key role in the development and extension of the YTV brand. Baehr (right) has 15 years of product management and marketing experience and has been with YTV since 1998.

Shelley Findlay, previously director of marketing, W Network, has been promoted to VP Marketing, Women’s Specialty Television. In this role, Findlay is responsible for this portfolio’s marketing strategies, as well as managing all female-targeted multi-platform launches and non-linear offerings.

In her previous position, Findlay (left) was part of the team responsible for the re-branding of W Network and its growth to become the number one network for women, says the press release. In addition, her involvement in all research initiatives, including the W Her Report, helped to establish W’s position with our customers as “marketing to women” experts. Findlay joined Corus in 1999 and has 10 years of marketing and advertising experience.

Jim Johnson, after nine months at Corus, becomes VP Marketing, Movie Central and Encore where he will be responsible for the planning and execution of marketing strategies for western Canada’s pay TV service.

Prior to joining Corus, Johnson (below) was director of marketing for Craig Media, where he oversaw marketing, communications and creative services for Toronto 1. Before this, Johnson held various positions at Alliance Atlantis Broadcasting, first as director of national sales promotions, then as director of marketing, Lifestyle Channels.
