EastLink adds six digital channels

HALIFAX – EastLink Cable has added six channels to its digital line-up for its Maritime customers.

Subscribers will be able to watch The Military Channel, The Fight Network, World Fishing Network (WFN), GolTV, Wild TV, and the NFL Network. They’re available individually, or the first five are bundled in a new “Action Pak” theme package, which is available on free preview until Sept. 20 and for an additional $6.95 a month afterwards. The NFL Network will be free to all digital cable subscribers.

"EastLink prides itself on delivering the best television viewing experience to our customers throughout the Maritimes," said Dan McKeen, EastLink’s co-CEO. "And by adding these new channels we are offering our customers even more choice."

The Military Channel explores the latest technology, strategy, history, and personal stories of the military, 24 hours a day. The Fight Network airs boxing, wrestling, and other hand-to-hand fights. GolTV is Canada’s only 24-hour sports network dedicated exclusively to soccer, airing more than 1,500 games a year. Wild TV is dedicated to the great outdoors and focuses on hunting and fishing with a Canadian perspective. The NFL Network showcases the best from the football league’s past, present, and future.

EastLink serves customers in Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island, and Sackville, N.B.
