WFN and golf club forge partnership

TORONTO – The World Fishing Network and The Club at Bond Head today announced a marketing partnership that merges two common passions for millions of Canadians: fishing and golf.

The partnership launched this month with a contest to win a foursome at The Club at Bond Head and included promotion on the network’s monthly e-mail newsletter, as well as a banner ad presence on WFN’s home page. Viewers can subscribe for the newsletter for free at the network’s website at www.WFN.TV.

Three separate foursome prizes will be given away, one each month from July through to September. And with green fees at $165 each, The Club at Bond Head isn’t a cheap place to play.

“We know that the crossover between those who love to fish and golf is tremendous, so a partnership between WFN and The Club at Bond Head is not only smart marketing, but a great opportunity for our audience base,” says Christopher Doyle, vice-president marketing, WFN.

Additionally, The Club at Bond Head will have an on-air presence on WFN, with billboards for the course running throughout the summer months.
