Aliant switches on $20 million EV-DO net across Atlantic Canada

SAINT JOHN – Aliant today launched its new high-speed wireless service in most major centres in Atlantic Canada on Wednesday. This follows the rollout of the new net in Halifax-Dartmouth in February. Customers in Saint John, Moncton and Fredericton, NB; Charlottetown, PEI, and St. John's, NL can now get wireless data speeds of up to 2.4 Mbps as well as new and enhanced applications on their wireless devices.
