TORONTO – The radio and television diversity PSAs from the Radio Television News Directors Association are ready for air.
The association made the announcement of its new, nation-wide, TV and radio campaign to promote cultural diversity in the news media yesterday. Click here to see and hear them.
A series of diversity PSAs is being distributed across the country by FastChannel Network Canada. Hard copies will also be mailed upon request.
The 30-second TV announcements and the 15-and 30-second radio spots were produced by Dynamix Productions, an award-winning studio in Toronto.
The RTNDA is encouraging all members to urge their station traffic department to put the PSAs into heavy rotation.
The spots do not have a limited shelf life and can be played indefinitely.
“We believe the RTNDA PSAs will fit nicely with your own station’s diversity efforts and will help increase awareness about the benefits of diversity,” said RTNDA president Terry Scott, in a note to members today.
