TORONTO – Telus today announced the launch of CallCentreAnywhere, its new contract multimedia contact centre.
Billing it as “a full-featured, on-demand IP contact centre solution that eliminates capital costs, cuts operating costs by 50 per cent, and greatly reduces the technical complexity of implementing and supporting a multimedia contact centre,” Telus has already secured more than $12 million in contracts from this.
"Telus is committed to offering integrated solutions that give our customers a competitive advantage in the market," said Joe Natale, president, Telus Business Solutions, in a release.
"CallCentreAnywhere changes the dynamics of call centres and is attracting the attention of Canadian business. It offers customers tremendous flexibility in managing their communications with clients and stakeholders, a predictable operating cost, and can be up and running in as little as 12 days,” he added.
“CallCentreAnywhere features all of the benefits large contact centres have come to rely on at a price-point that organizations of any size could afford.
CallCentreAnywhere addresses the challenge of managing customer communications by providing a web-based interface to anyone in the organization that is responsible for contact with stakeholders by fax, e-mail, web, or phone. The call centre solution is accessible whether staff are at home, at a remote location, or anywhere they can get access to the Telus secure IP network. CallCentreAnywhere is hosted in Telus’ Internet Data Centres, which are integrated across the Telus IP network.
Over the next five years, Telus is sponsoring the implementation of a $1.5 million call centre for the Red Cross’ B.C. Disaster Response Centre. The Red Cross will be able to handle public enquiries more quickly, share critical disaster information with authorities and families, and capture more donation dollars. CallCentreAnywhere allows the Red Cross to respond immediately to a crisis, greatly reduces the time spent on each call, and increases the accuracy and effectiveness of the critical information they gather.
