Rogers adds SET Asia to Ontario digital lineup

TORONTO – Rogers Cable digital subscribers in Ontario can now watch Sony Entertainment Asia (SET Asia) as part of the multicultural offerings.

Rogers has added SET Asia, a 24-hour Hindi-language channel airing family dramas, game shows, live concerts, talk shows, lifestyle programs, and thrillers. SET Asia is seen in more than 40 million households throughout India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, and the Middle East.

The offering brings to 32 the number of multicultural channels that Rogers offers.

“Rogers continually strives to bring the most multicultural programming to its customers,” says David Purdy, Vice-President and General Manager, Television for Rogers Cable. “So, it is very important to us that we listen to our customers’ demands and provide the types of programming that appeal to them, like Sony Entertainment Television Asia.”

SET Asia is available on channel 625 and Rogers Digital Cable customers can order it for an additional $10.00 a month when they subscribe to ATN (Asian Television Network) at $14.95.
