SAINT JOHN – As of today, Aliant customers have the option of purchasing a new PlayStation 2 on the same bill as their high speed Internet.
PS2 lets gamers play on-line.
“The convenient, affordable and flexible online video gaming offer enables gamers to play solo or engage in multi-player online games with others within the region and around the world,” says the press release.
“Extending our product offering to include PS2 – a world leading product in the multi-billion dollar gaming industry – is part of our commitment to be our customers’ first choice for all information, communications and entertainment needs,” said Joe Mosher, Aliant’s ISP director.
“It’s a matter of simplicity for our customers," says Mosher. "The fact that you can add it onto your monthly Aliant bill makes it both easy and convenient."
The offer is currently available at DownEast Communications and Mobile One stores in various locations in Nova Scotia, New Brunswick and Newfoundland and Labrador. The offer allows customers to obtain a network-enabled PS2 for as low as $8.99 per month (based on a 24-month term), or, it can be combined with Aliant High-Speed for as little as $38.94 per month for the first 12 months ($48.94 per month afterward).
The regular retail price for the game console is about $180.
