TORONTO – Thanks to Corus Radio’s promotion of Dave Farough to GM in London, Karen Steele got the program director job at Standard Radio’s Mix 99.9. As reported by www.cartt.ca, Corus sent Farough, who had been Q107 Toronto’s PD, to its London group of stations as GM and then hired Blair Bartem away from Mix to take over at the Mighty Q.That left Steele, who was APD and promotions director at the Mix, to take the PD job.
