MTS ties bundles to donations

WINNIPEG – "Three choices, three bucks, three charities," MTS said today while launching its new product bundles.

From now until June 17th, for every customer who signs up for a Manitoba Telecom Services Inc. bundle of high speed, wireless and TV, the company will donate $3 to three Manitoba charities. Customers can choose from among three Manitoba charities in which to donate: Ma Mawi Wi Chi Itata Centre, Inc., Manitoba 4-H, or The Children’s Hospital Foundation of Manitoba.

“This "three choices, three bucks, three charities" aspect to the launch of our new MTS Bundles reflects MTS’s ongoing commitment to Manitoba, where we live and work every day," said Kelvin Shepherd, Chief Operating Officer, MTS Communications.

For the first time in Manitoba, the new MTS Bundles provide the opportunity for customers to create their own bundle of savings. Choose any two of the services and they can save $10 per month – or choose all three, and save $15 per month.

Customers who sign up on line at www.mts.ca/bundle can also enter a draw to win one of three plasma TVs.

For now, only Winnipeg MTS customers can save $15 since MTS TV is still only available in the Manitoba capital.

"Manitobans don’t like to pay for things they don’t want or need – they want great value and they want choice. So that’s what we have put together in the new MTS Bundles," added Shepherd, in the release. "Now, anyone in the 137 Manitoba communities who have access to MTS High Speed Internet can choose to bundle that service with our digital cellular service, available to 97% of Manitobans."
