9 Story acquires CCI Kids catalogue; Osborne promoted to head of distribution division


TORONTO – Animated and live-action children’s content producer 9 Story Entertainment announced Wednesday it has acquired the rights to CCI Kids’ children’s and family library of content, as well as distribution rights for other CCI Releasing titles in the kids and family genre.  

With the agreement, 9 story has acquired the rights of more than 1,000 half-hours of CCI Kids Content, which includes titles such as Artzooka, Harry and His Bucketful of Dinosaurs, Turbo Dogs, Extreme Babysitting, Erky Perky, GeoFreakZ, and classics such as Sharon, Lois & Bram’s Elephant Show and Shining Time Station. CCI Kids is the family content division of Toronto-based CCI Entertainment.

As a result of this expansion, Natalie Osborne has been promoted to managing director of the company’s distribution division, 9 Story Enterprises. Osborne joined the company in 2006 to launch 9 Story Enterprises and now oversees all worldwide sales, consumer products and strategic partnerships.

Joining the 9 story sales team (and reporting to Osborne) are: Jill Keenleyside as VP distribution, Federico Vargas as sales director, and Kristin Lecour as director consumer products.
