80’s Canadian game show ‘Just Like Mom’ returns, with dads

TORONTO – Bell Media is bringing back Canadian game show Just Like Mom in a deal with production company marblemedia that will see dads playing a role in the rebooted show.Renamed Just Like Mom And Dad, marblemedia has licensed the series format rights and will re-launch the show in 2018 on Yes TV in Canada and BYU TV in the U.S. An online casting call kicked off Monday and production on the 20 episodes will begin this fall.The original Just Like Mom was commissioned for CTV's flagship station, Toronto's CFTO-TV, and aired for more than five seasons between 1980 and...
