29 community and campus radio stations receive CRFC funding

OTTAWA — The Community Radio Fund of Canada (CRFC) today announced 29 community and campus stations have been selected to receive funding through the CRFC’s 2021-2022 Radiometres program. Launched in 2012, the Radiometres program supports projects which focus on: access to local news and information; supporting community music and expression; transitioning to emerging programming distribution technologies; and sustainability and capacity-building at community radio stations. Funding distributed through the CRFC’s Radiometres program comes from commercial radio stations through their Canadian Content Development (CCD) contributions.
