23 new convergent projects share more than $8M in CMF funding

TORONTO - The Canada Media Fund (CMF) has awarded $8.1 million to 23 convergent projects created for television and digital media as part of the first round of financing under the Francophone Minority Program.This program supports productions which reflect the realities of living in French-language communities outside Quebec. There will be 16 documentaries, five children’s and youth productions, and two variety and performing arts projects.A list of CMF-funded projects is available here.www.cmf-fmc.ca
