$22M in federal, provincial funding to help connect 1,000 households in Labrador

HAPPY VALLEY-GOOSE BAY, NL – The government of Canada today announced $22.4 million in funding is being allocated to the Nunatsiavut Government for a project that will bring high-speed Internet to over 1,000 households in rural areas in Labrador. Bell Canada will build and operate the network, which will benefit the communities of Rigolet, Postville, Makkovik, Nain, Hopedale and Natuashish, according to a press release.
