2020 Upfront: Global adds new original series Departure to fall lineup

TORONTO — Global TV today unveiled its 2020-21 programming lineup which will see the premiere this fall of the new original series Departure, starring Christopher Plummer and Archie Panjabi (The Good Wife). Making its North American broadcast premiere on Global, Departure is a six-part series that follows the investigation into the disappearance of Flight 716, a passenger plane that vanishes over the Atlantic Ocean. Panjabi stars as investigator Kendra Malley, who is brought in by her mentor Howard Lawson (played by Plummer) to lead the team looking into the crash.
