2020 MLS Cup playoffs on TSN starting November 20


TORONTO — TSN today announced it will kick off its exclusive live coverage of the 2020 MLS Cup Playoffs on Friday, November 20.

The post-season action begins with two Eastern Conference play-in round games as Thierry Henry’s Montreal Impact take on veteran head coach Bruce Arena’s New England Revolution on November 20 at 6:30 p.m. ET on TSN, followed by a matchup between first-year clubs Nashville SC and Inter Miami CF at 9 p.m. ET. The winners of these two play-in round games will advance to round one of the playoffs.

Set to broadcast all MLS post-season games live this fall, TSN’s coverage begins with the 2020 MLS Cup Playoffs Preview, airing Wednesday, November 18 at 7 p.m. ET on TSN3 and TSN5.

Round one of the playoffs will feature eight single elimination matches from November 21 to 24, including second overall seed Toronto FC facing off against the higher-seeded play-in round winner.

TSN will continue its live coverage of the playoffs through to the 2020 MLS Cup championship game on Saturday, December 12. The network’s complete 2020 MLS Cup Playoffs broadcast schedule is available here.

TSN’s 2020 MLS Cup Playoffs coverage will be hosted by Kelcey Brade alongside analyst Kristian Jack. Canadian Screen Award-winning play-by-play commentator Luke Wileman will call the action for Canadian team matchups alongside game analyst Steven Caldwell.
