ATLANTA – Tony Werner, executive vice president and chief technology officer of Comcast Cable, will serve as the program committee chairman for SCTE Cable-Tec Expo 2014, scheduled for September 23 -26, in Denver.
Werner will drive the development of educational content for Cable-Tec Expo 2014 that will accelerate the deployment of next-generation products and services. He succeeds Kevin Hart, executive vice president and CTO of Cox Communications, as program committee chair.

Earlier this week, Werner was elected by his fellow SCTE Board of Directors members to serve as vice chairman of the board for the 2013-14 term.
